getting in to skateboarding.
To learn and to get started in skateboarding you will need to learn the basics. first you will need (for little kids or older) a helmit, elbow and knee pads, an of corse the deck. for 8 years and younger you would want to use a wall mart board. for older use a skate shop board.

After the basic info
Ok now were going to learn some tricks. the most basic trick is called the olie. to do that put one foot on the tail and one in the middle of the board. first pop the tail then slide your foot (one in middle) up to the beginning of the nose. that will get it to level out. then when your in the air slam down on the screws and land.
